Stephen Rennicks under the name Secret Society incorporates art, writing and music. One discipline has been feeding the other, each leaving its mark on the resultant works. At this time all three sides of Secret Society are now publicly active. Be aware that a more covert side of Secret Society has also been in operation for some time.

Writing
Since October 2002 a blog site has been in regular operation at www.truthandinfinity.blogspot.com. This site is also the best place to go for latest information on Secret Society activities.

Art
The track 'Trains For The Blind' is on a CD included with the 2004 ESB Fringe Festivals 'Transit' catalogue. This was a collaboration between London based artist Melissa Agate involving the exchanging of recordings of train station sounds in Dublin and London.

JUNK OUT OF CONTEXT - Running from March 2003 for 12 months. Sound and video art left onto the shelves of charity shops throughout Dublin. The junk formats being, VHS, audio cassette and CDR, the sound and video track contained to be viewed only out of context. No reference to time and place are made in work. All formats are stickered with title, project name, email and website details to identify. Get looking!

Music
Two separate CDs compiling tape collage and electronic material from the Junk Out Of Context project are now available on Ancient Records. Moment Series was launched by Secret Society ­ Storm(To Remind & Transport). This refers to the interpretation of the phrase; To stretch a moment is to live outside time. Open for submissions.

The debut Secret Society album. 'Am Makin' Discoveries' is out now on Ancient Records.

The track 'Stowaway' is included on the Daniel Figgis remix compilation, 'When Its Ajar', on Spitroast Records. Secret Society MP3s are available on Downloads section of this site. Open to requests for live performance and DJ sets.
